We all must start somewhere and too often we fail to see the importance of those small and humble beginnings. It’s easy to get frustrated and feel like everyone is so much further ahead of you. But here’s the thing, if you don’t embrace where you are now and learn how to do it to the best of your ability, then you truly jeopardize not successfully reaching your full potential. You have to lay the foundation and make sure it’s solid before you can build on it.
Do everything as if it were the most important task ever, because actually it is. How you show up for the small stuff is how you will show up when it’s crunch time! Plus you’ll be better prepared. Zechariah 4:10 tells us not to despise the small beginnings. Friend, don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. Instead get out there and give it your best effort and pursue excellence.
